Using the backdrop of a cemetery, the female protagonist challenges the state’s effort to take her property but finds the biggest battle is her attraction for the man she should hate—the engineer designing the road widening along the front of her family cemetery. Love Six-Foot Deep won 2nd place in the Maggie Awards from Georgia Romance Writers in 2024 for pre-published contemporary romance. It was one of five finalists in the popular category. The manuscript is under consideration for publication. But shh! Ericson’s hoping not to jinx it!
